As I was pursuing to find an internship within the industry that would allow me to develop my skills as a designer ready for the industry, I came across the opportunity for an internship within a music record label company, that also owned an app company.
Due to the fact that this was also very near to my hometown,
I decided to apply for the position, bearing in mind that I could complete the
position on Tuesdays and Wednesdays allowing it to not interfere with my
university career. The job description can be seen in figure 1.

Received an email confirming that I had an interview for the role. Once passing of my contact information is an awaited head a reply of the company, although this was a long process and took me chasing them up twice before they actually replied. As can be seen in figure 2.
We arranged an interview which I drove back to Birmingham to
be able to complete, after the interview they offered me the role straightaway
with the intention of starting two weeks after.
Two weeks later I drove back to Birmingham in order to start
the first day of my internship, the evening before the internship I text the
company director to ask what time they would like me to attend and if there's
any other preparation I could do beforehand.
I received a reply stating that unfortunately, he had broken
his foot and therefore was not in work this week, although for some reason
failed to tell me this before travelling over 200 miles to be able to attend, I
replied back asking when he would like me to start the internship and wishing
him the best in terms of recovery.
After this message, I never received any more communications
from the company, and therefore continue to look for another internship.
Although I felt this was a great waste of time due to the fact that I stopped
looking for other alternative internships on the hope of completing this one,
and not wanting to mess the company about.
