After a session of PPP, I decided to speak to Alec to be
able to get some more information on whether pricing myself correctly and also
how to get yourself out there to be a to get more work. I also spoke to him
about the fact that it started to get job interviews and the way in which to
get myself across best. Within the session, I also asked him to review my
portfolio development from the Studio Moross portfolio crit.
To be able to answer the first questions he said it is
really depends on where your work sits in the industry and also pricing
structures can be extremely different depending on the client.
In order to give me a better understanding of the way in
which to deal with some of these issues he recommended I look at the YouTube
channel ‘The Futur’. Within this channel, it has content about all of the
questions you can be asking as a designer. Please see below some of the videos
I found particularly helpful within figuring out where my design practice sits
within the industry.
