BRUT Collaboration

As part of extended practice, I worked on a brief based around the reinvigoration advertised meant to campaign of the fragrance Brut. I worked on this with a fellow graphic designer from a year Hannah Rice, as well as a creative advertising student also within a year, Lucy Matthews, we were able to create the brief and quick turnaround time due to the fact that we were only given three weeks from briefing to submission, in order to come up with the concept design and also pitch the design. This test of time management due to the fact that we had to two other modules running at the same time, as well as around five other live briefs. Although due to the fact that the university did not brief us until last minute, we had to work efficiently.

I was happy with the overall outcome as it was a polished visual representation of the ideas of the creative advertising student. As a whole working in a team was successful due to the fact that we kept a consistent and accurate communication throughout all of the decisions and alterations, allowing any decisions to be put past each member of the team. This allowed for a clear representation of all of our ideas and therefore an outcome that I am happy with representing.
